As of January 1, 2019 Vivek Bhatia is Managing Director & CEO of TKIL Industries Pvt. Ltd.

Vivek was earlier CEO - Asia Pacific at thyssenkrupp AG, driving group activities for all thyssenkrupp companies in the region. Prior to that, he led Strategy, Markets and Development for the Asia Pacific region for the Group and was based in Singapore.

Prior to joining thyssenkrupp, Vivek was with Boston Consulting Group, India where he worked extensively in the capital goods sector with clients in India and abroad on a wide canvas of topics. In 2013, he was awarded a BCG Olympics Gold Medal for the most insightful and impactful client work in the region. He earlier worked for several years as a design engineer for refineries and pipelines at Engineers India Limited.

Vivek holds an MBA (from IIM Calcutta), M. Tech. (Gold Medallist from IIT Delhi) and B.E. (with honours from University of Delhi).

Professional background:

Ketan is the CFO of TKIL Industries Pvt. Ltd. and Whole-time Director.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Besides he has completed a Senior Management course from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and is also a Six Sigma Green Belt holder. He has more than 22 years of professional work experience.

He brings with him a rich experience from his numerous roles in Finance, Accounting & Reporting besides, Banking & Finance, Taxation and Controlling at different hierarchical levels at thyssenkrupp.

As he progressed in his career, his responsibilities increased manifold to encompass direct taxation, banking and finance, accounting and audit as per IFRS and Local GAAP, Cost Records and audit thereof, Forex Hedging and reporting to the group company in Germany.

He presently leads a huge team at TKIL Industries Pvt. Ltd. overseeing Finance, Procurement, Estimation & Commercial Project Management functions.
